Meet our founder

Hyphae Network founder Samantha Bowen has over a decade of cross-sector leadership experience in aged care, community health, education, and workforce reform.

She has worked at executive and national levels to design, deliver, and scale initiatives that strengthen leadership pipelines, improve workforce capability, and align services to complex reform agendas.

Her portfolio includes:

  • Leading national mentoring initiatives matching hundreds of leaders, achieving 90%+ mentor return rates, measurable gains in confidence, clarity, and retention, and scalable frameworks now embedded across organisations.

  • Samantha has strong stakeholder management skills for your high priority projects.

    She has directed critical projects including emergency communication protocols for 2,500+ staff, cultural safety initiatives embedded into Reconciliation Action Plans, and cross-sector partnerships with cultural institutions to design dementia-enabling programs.

  • She has represented organisations at Commonwealth forums, CHOGM Women’s Forum in Rwanda, and supported decision making via Government advisory panels influencing aged care workforce strategy, leadership development, and cultural safety priorities.

  • Samantha has led operational and workforce strategies for organisations ranging from state-wide community service providers to national membership bodies and sector leaders. She integrates strong governance, compliance, and reform alignment into sustainable business improvements.
